For some days ago after my blog post about different shoe inventions, I have been contacted by Tara Haughton, girl behind Rosso Solini shop that sels DIY shoe soles.
She was very sweet to send me a samples, after a very few days I got surprise in my post:).
Cute box with nicely put together samples and equipment for making perfect cut arround shoe sole.
So yesterday I used my evening to decorate my new nude heels I bought from ebay for couple weeks ago.
I like results, it looks great, and I am planing to order soles in different colors and different drawings on. You can see selection of designs here.
I used a hair dryer with a warm air to make perfect layering.
It is important to crack the end of knife of at once when you feel it is not sharp enough.
It is also important to hold knife perpendicular to shoe sole like on the picture from the left.
The edge of shoe sole will function as a ruler, and then you will be able to make that perfect cut:)
I like result a lot! And while I am sawing up for real Louboutin stilettos,
I will enjoy this red soles from Tara:)
My next color is neon yellow of course, and black/white polka dott soles:)
P.s. I got advice from Tara to not stick Rosso Solini sole all the way under forefoot because it will be very slippery to walk , so I found a clear plastic/silicone sole protector against slippery and sole ripping.
You can buy them on ebay .
Thank you for reading my blog girls:)
Enjoy your day!
